Newsletter sign-up form with interests and consent

A mailing list is only as good as the permission behind it. This conversational form asks for a first name and an email address, which topics the person wants (news, tips, stories or offers) and a required agreement to receive emails with the right to unsubscribe at any time.

Who it is for

When to use it

Link it from your website, your social profile or the end of an event. Asking for interests lets you segment later, and the explicit consent gives you a dated record, which is useful under data-protection rules.

What the form asks

Questions

  • First name · requiredShort text

The PDF your respondents receive

Each sign-up produces a short PDF confirming the person's choices and consent. For your mailing list, download the responses as a spreadsheet and import the addresses into your email tool.

Questions people ask

Does Fillfold send my newsletter?
No. It collects sign-ups. You send emails with the tool of your choice, and there is no automatic connection to mailing services.
Is this enough to comply with data-protection rules?
It records a clear consent. Your obligations also cover how you store addresses, honour unsubscribes and describe your use of data, so check the rules that apply to you.
Do I need a confirmation email?
Some places expect double opt-in. That is done in your email tool, not in this form.
