Terms of use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Fillfold, operated by [Operator name to be set]. By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled.

The service

Fillfold lets you build forms, design a PDF document template, publish a link, and give each respondent a PDF built from their answers. The service is an early preview: features may change, and it is provided “as is” without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Paid features are not available yet; we will tell you before any charge applies.

Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your password and backup codes safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Turn on two-step verification, and keep your backup codes somewhere safe, to protect it.

Your responsibilities as a creator

  • You are the controller of the personal data your forms collect. You need a lawful reason to collect it, and you must tell respondents who you are and what you do with it.
  • Only ask for what you need. Be especially careful with sensitive data such as identity documents, health or financial details.
  • You are responsible for the content of your forms and documents, including professional advice they contain.

Not allowed

  • Illegal content, fraud, phishing, or forms that impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Collecting data from people who have not been told it is being collected.
  • Harassment, malware, or content that harms children.
  • Trying to break, overload or bypass the security of the service, or to access other people’s data.

We may suspend an account or hide a form that breaks these rules or puts others at risk. Where possible we will tell you why. Suspended accounts keep their data, which is not deleted automatically.

Your content

You keep all rights to your forms, documents and responses. You give us the permission needed to store, process and display them in order to run the service for you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction to be confirmed]. Questions: [contact email to be set].
