Paid downloads

Paid downloads are not available yet: they are coming soon. Once they open, you will set a price on a form's document, your client will pay Fillfold before downloading, and you will receive 60%, 85% or 70% of the full price, depending on your plan, by bank transfer after a monthly statement.
Paid downloads are coming soon. They are not open today, and no one can pay for a document yet. On your Overview page, the Revenue box says: “Paid documents are coming soon. Nothing to set up yet.”
This page explains how they will work, as set out in our terms and on the home page. Details may still change before the launch.
How a paid download will work
- You set a price on a form's document.
- Your client answers the form for free.
- Right before downloading the PDF, your client sees the price and pays Fillfold.
- Fillfold sells the document in its own name, takes the payment and sends the receipt by email. You do not handle any payment.
- Your client downloads the PDF straight away, and can download it again with the same link for 90 days.
What you will earn
You keep a share of the full price your client pays. The share depends on your plan on the day of the sale:

How you will be paid
- At the start of each month, a statement of last month's sales is made available to you in the app.
- You send Fillfold an invoice for your share, made out to Fillfold, by email.
- Fillfold pays it by bank transfer within 30 days of receiving a valid invoice.
Good to know before your first payout:
- You give Fillfold your bank details and a tax form (W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E or W-9), because Fillfold is a United States company.
- A share under €20 is carried over to the next month.
- Refunds and payment disputes on a sale are deducted from your share.
- You remain responsible for declaring and paying your own taxes.
You stay responsible for your content
Fillfold provides the tool and handles the payment. It does not write, check or approve your forms. You remain responsible for your questions, prices and documents, and buyers send questions about a document's content to you.

Questions
- Can I charge for a document today?
- No. Paid downloads are coming soon. Today your clients answer and download their PDF for free, and there is nothing to set up.
- Do I need my own payment account?
- No. Fillfold will sell the document in its own name and collect the payment. You will not handle any payment or card details.
- Who answers questions about the content of a paid document?
- You do. The terms say the content is written by the creator, who is responsible for it, so buyers send questions about it to you.
