Plans and credits

Fillfold is free during early access, with every feature open. At launch there will be three plans: Free, Pro (€19 a month, or €190 a year) and Pay as you go (€0.90 a document, in packs of 25 credits that never expire). Nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Fillfold is in early access. Today it is free, and every feature is open to every account. The prices below are the ones planned for launch, and they are shown on the pricing section of the home page.

AI drafting and AI translation will be Pro features, also during the 14-day trial. Free and Pay as you go include the AI drafts shown above, but no AI translation. During early access, both stay open to every account. See Draft a form with AI and A form in several languages.
Pro also lists 7 languages, CSV export and embedding on your website, and starts with a 14-day trial. The yearly option is shown as Yearly · 2 months free.
How credits work
Pay as you go is for occasional use, with no subscription.
- You buy credits in packs of 25.
- Each document uses one credit.
- Credits never expire, so a pack bought in spring still works at the end of the year.
Check what you use today
To choose a plan when the time comes, look at how much you use Fillfold now.
- Open Overview in the menu on the left.
- Read the counts: Forms, Submissions and Documents generated. They count what is in your account today (forms not archived, responses not deleted), not a monthly figure.
- For a single form, open its Responses page to see the answers and PDFs one by one. See Responses: PDF and CSV.
Paid downloads, coming soon
Later, you will be able to set a price on a form's document. Your client answers for free and pays right before downloading their PDF. Fillfold takes the payment. Each month you get a statement of your sales, you send an invoice for your share, and it is paid to your bank. Your share is calculated on the full price your client pays, depending on your plan on the day of the sale. Today, the Revenue box on your Overview page says: “Paid documents are coming soon. Nothing to set up yet.” See Paid downloads for how they will work, and What your client sees.
Good to know
- The plan limits (published forms, documents a month, the Fillfold mark, AI drafting and translation) apply at launch. They are not applied during early access.
- Two limits apply today to every account: a number of AI requests a day (see Draft a form with AI), and up to 50 templates of your own (see Start from a template).
- The full rules, including how a subscription is renewed and cancelled, are in the terms.
- Fillfold calculates totals for you, but it is not certified accounting software. You remain responsible for your prices and documents.
Questions
- Do I need a card to start?
- No. During early access, you create an account and use Fillfold for free. No card is asked for.
- What happens to my forms when plans start?
- Our terms say we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and that nothing will be charged without your agreement. You can then pick the plan that fits.
- Does my client pay anything?
- Not today. Your clients answer and download their PDF for free. Paid documents are coming soon, and only if you set a price on a form.
